  • The project has been developed in collaboration with:

    • Alistair Baldwin Landscape Architects.

    • The Traditional Architecture Group, through their design review process.

  • Drawing inspiration from the historic architecture of Shrewsbury, the design features:

    • Local stone and brick, grounding the house in its regional heritage.

    • A grotto entrance, facing the river, enhancing its sense of place.

    • A zinc dome, crowning the structure with a striking focal point.

    • River gods sculpted on the parapet, adding a symbolic connection to its riverside setting.

This project is a celebration of tradition and craftsmanship, reinterpreted in a contemporary architectural context.
